Gemini Force One Signs Top Literary Agent

Anderson Entertainment today announces the successful completion of fundraising and the signing of Robert Kirby, one of Britain’s most influential literary agents, for its latest project, Gemini Force One (“GF1”), a series of books by Gerry Anderson MBE, the creator of numerous science fiction successes such as Thunderbirds, Captain Scarlet, Stingray and many more.
As Jamie Anderson, Gerry’s son and Managing Director of Anderson Entertainment says, “Our crowd-funding through Kickstarter was 37% oversubscribed, which enabled us to hire one of my favourite writers, best-selling author MG Harris, to complete the book and to sign up the country’s No. 1 agent as well. With Robert behind us, we’re hoping to announce a book deal fairly soon.”
Robert Kirby is one of the founders of United Agents, the UK’s leading talent agency for actors, authors, presenters, books, films, TV and theatre. He was awarded the Bookseller Industry Award for Literary Agent of the Year in 2012 and his clients include, amongst others, best-selling authors Hunter Davies and Anthony Horowitz, writer/performers Rob Brydon, James Corden, Dawn French, Ricky Gervais, Clive James CBE, Ewan McGregor, Paul McKenna, Jennifer Saunders and Suggs and politicians and commentators such as Sir Bernard Ingham and John Prescott. He is also the agent behind Simon’s Cat – and its meteoric rise to online fame, as well as being a qualified trainer and coach.
